New technology, new materials, and new knowledge all lead to innovation in the automotive industry. But there is a side effect of auto manufacturers moving into new directions. With features like advanced driving systems, lightweight vehicle materials, and advanced safety systems, the nature of collision repairs is ever changing and evolving. It’s never been more important to keep up to date with the latest training and information, that’s why receiving an I-CAR Gold Class certification is so important, and you can be sure that Dabler Auto Body is I-CAR Gold certified.
To earn the Gold Class recognition, businesses must achieve and maintain a high level of role-relevant training across each of the major collision repair roles. This is measured by achievement and maintenance of Platinum™ recognition, earned through I-CAR training, by designated Role Reps at your facility.
To maintain Gold Class, an organization must continue to develop the knowledge and skills of its staff to advanced levels by progressing its Role Reps through the ProLevels® of I-CAR‘s Professional Development Program™. By becoming Gold Class, you demonstrate to your customers, your staff and the industry that your business is committed to the highest standards of professionalism.
Gold Class recognition is the highest role-relevant training achievement recognized by the collision repair industry, and it’s estimated that only 20% of repair shops currently meet the rigorous Gold Class standard. A May 2013 analysis of more than 18,000 collision repair shops by automotive information provider CynCast also found that Gold Class businesses outperformed other body shops by 47% in CynCast’s Shop Performance Value Rating. The rating measures shop performance using important metrics such as how soon on average customers get their cars back, the accurate of the initial estimate, and customer satisfaction.
Dabler Auto Body is proud to be recognized as an I-CAR Gold Class shop serving the Salem, Oregon area for over 50 years!
