To help prevent the spread of Covid-19, Dabler Auto Body has implemented numerous Covid-19 safety precautions that guide how we conduct our daily business. Every vehicle coming in for an estimate or repairs will be thoroughly disinfected, unless specifically instructed by the owner to not perform the disinfectant process when asked beforehand (do to chemical allergies or sensitivities).

All shop employees will wear gloves, safety glasses, long sleeve shirts, and respirators to protect themselves inside the shop during the disinfectant process. Employees are told to avoid touching their faces while wearing gloves, wash their hands immediately after removing gloves, and to promptly dispose of the gloves after removal.

Only EPA registered disinfectant products are used during this process, and all manufacturer instructions are strictly followed during the disinfectant procedure. All surfaces where the disinfectant will be applied will be verified to be safe before application. Exterior and interior contact points on the vehicle will be disinfected during the initial intake of the vehicle, and will be again disinfected at the time the vehicle is ready to return to the customer.

Here’s a detailed list of the processes we take when your vehicle is dropped off, and when it’s ready for pickup after servicing:

Covid-19 Safety Drop Off Procedure:

1. Put on appropriate PPE.
2. Receive keys in a zip lock bag and apply appropriate disinfectant.
3. Apply GC200 Surface Sanitizer and Disinfectant to the exterior of the vehicle and let stand for 4-10 min.
4. Apply GC200 Surface Sanitizer and Disinfectant to the interior of the vehicle and let stand for 4-10 min.
5. After applying G200 Surface Sanitizer and Disinfectant to the interior of the vehicle, wrap all touch points in protective plastic. (seats, floor, mats, steering wheel, shifter, parking brake.
6. Remove and dispose of PPE to avoid cross-contamination.

Covid-19 Safety Pick Up Procedure:

1. Put on appropriate PPE.
2. Remove and dispose of all five protective pieces of plastic.
3. Final wipe high touch areas of the vehicle with a RBL Isopropyl Disinfectant/Sanitizer wipe per directions.
4. Place keys in zip lock bag and apply appropriate disinfectant. Deliver keys to customer and allow them to remove keys from the bag.
5. Remove and dispose of PPE to avoid cross-contamination.
